Science Liaisons

Paper now.
The FDA and the Department of Justice are teaming up to pursue
investigations of wrongdoing by individual employees and their management.
The medical science liaison (MSL) function has been operating under the
precept that by filling the ranks with licensed healthcare providers and/or
individuals with terminal degrees, customer interactions are conducted in a
forgiving peer-to-peer capacity. However, there is nothing written in any
FDA guidance or regulation which exempts MSLs from healthcare fraud
associated with the "promotion" of products in the context of off-label
discussions.
Learn about the changing regulatory environment, how to assess your risk,
and strategies to protect yourself and your team.
