Christine Luckscheiter
Principal
With over 20 years of dedicated oncology experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Christine has the ability to understand both the intricate science of rapidly evolving cancer research and the unique drivers of the oncology marketplace. Her breadth of experience includes: sales, MSL & MSL management, training, clinical development, product launch strategy, marketing, competitive intelligence, and lifecycle management. In addition, she has conducted assessments for product and company acquisitions. One unique aspect of her background is her involvement with all the NCI cooperative study groups for more than 15 years. This has enabled her, over time, to develop long-term, close relationships with many Key Opinion Leaders across multiple hematologic malignancies and solid tumor types. The co-op groups are also where she gains an early understanding of the emerging trends in clinical development strategy, translational research, and shifting treatment paradigms.
George Mooney
Consulting Partner
George brings a synergistic clinical and business perspective to Chesapeake. His intimate and unique knowledge of the oncology landscape was built from over 27 years of industry experience at Bristol Myers Oncology (9 years) and Johnson & Johnson (18 years). He has held leadership positions in oncology clinical affairs, sales and marketing, and new product development. He is experienced in medical writing, clinical trial design, business acumen development, strategy implementation, and is very passionate about training & education. In addition, his work with scientific thought-leaders spans most academic sites and community centers across the United States.
Debra K. Bowes
Consulting Partner
Debra is a commercial healthcare professional with 25 years of Biotech and Pharma experience focused in oncology and immunology. Her experience spans sales, marketing, market research, new product planning, and corporate development which included responsibility for managing and expanding oncology licensing agreements with European and Japanese partners. She was a key member of the launch team for 2 oncology therapeutics at Ligand, and for one immunology product at Centocor.
Alison Martin, MD
Medical Oncologist and Regulatory Expert
Dr. Martin attended medical school at the George Washington University, did her residency at University of Pittsburgh, and completed her fellowship in oncology at the National Cancer Institute. She was in private practice at The Washington Clinic for 6 years before joining the FDA. She held positions of increasing responsibility during her 9 years at the Division of Oncology Drug Products, CDER, FDA including Medical Officer and Team Leader. She transitioned to the Clinical Investigations Branch, CTEP, NCI where she was initially Head, GU Cancer; and subsequently Head, Melanoma Therapeutics. She was the NCI liaison to the Cooperative Study Groups for genitourinary and melanoma tumor committees. She left the NCI to become the President and CEO of the Melanoma Research Alliance. Dr. Martin is now consulting to industry, CROs, and non-profit cancer organizations. She is on the Board of Directors of the Melanoma Research Foundation. Alison brings a unique depth of expertise to Chesapeake and our clients with her first-hand understanding of the U.S. regulatory approval process for cancer drugs. She leads Chesapeake’s ODAC Preparation Services team. She is also experienced in the art of protocol design and review – especially having served on several DSMBs. She is particularly skilled at facilitating advisory board meetings that are focused on clinical development and regulatory approval strategies. Dr. Martin has served on numerous ASCO committees.

She brings her project management expertise to the Chesapeake Team, ensuring that timelines and milestones are consistently achieved. Her career path has spanned Clinical Affairs, Corporate Development, Licensing and Acquisition, Finance, Distribution, and Operations. The breadth of her experience gives her the vocabulary to understand both the big picture and the details of our work.
